Minimally Invasive Surgery of the Neck and Back

Minimally invasive surgery, also known as "keyhole" surgery is performed using an endoscope, which is inserted through small incisions (half-inch). The endoscope is connected to a tiny video camera which projects an "inside" view of the patient's body onto television screens in the operating room. Small surgical instruments may then be passed through one or more additional half-inch incisions.

Benefits of Minimally Invasive Surgery are

  • Less pain
  • Faster recovery
  • Shorter hospital stay
  • Aesthetically better

Conditions treated with Minimally Invasive Surgery are

  • Low Back Pain
  • Herniated Discs
  • Spinal Stenosis
  • Spondylolisthesis
  • Degenerative Scoliosis
